To keep your sandals with you for the long run, it's best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high heat (like inside a closed car). That can damage the materials and lead to faster wear.
If dirt or dust builds up, it's recommended to gently wash them with lukewarm water and soap, using a brush or on a delicate wash cycle (up to 30ºC). To prevent odour, make sure to dry the sandals well after each wash or water adventure - preferably under direct sunlight until fully dry, and don't leave them wet and unventilated for too long.
