Medium distance running in a low profile shoe can be challenging for new minimal footwear users. It takes time for your foot to adjust to an increasingly thinner level of sole and the increased reliance on good running technique. The all new women’s V-Run is a fully redesigned running shoe, built for those looking for a sole that gives the benefits of going closer to barefoot and has slightly more cushion to offer more support on a medium distance road run. It is still thin, but gives you just a little bit more so you can be confident making the switch.

  • UPPER – Stretch Polyamide mesh withTPU toe caps for protection
  • SOLE – XS_RUN performance Rubber pods on an EVA midsole (2.5mm Rubber / 4mm EVA / 2mm footbed) = 8.5mm total sole thickness.
  • FOOTBED – 2mm Polyurethane with a Dri-Lex Sockliner
  • CLEANING – Machine or hand wash, cold water. Air dry.

With the lacing system completely loosened, insert your foot while gradually aligning each toe with the appropriate toe pocket" it's often best to start with your big toe and work down to the little toe, gradually inching forward as each toe finds its place. Check to make sure one toe is in each pocket.


AFTER each toe is in place, pull up the heel cup and nestle your own heel into the FiveFingers heel cup. It's important to get your heel firmly seated in the heel cup.


Slide the toggle down to the base of the laces until you have found your ideal fit.

Use the hook and loop fasteners at the end of the laces and affix them to the instep of the shoe.
