We recommend ordering Altra running shoes ½ size larger than a dress shoe. We want you to have the best fit possible. The CM size is the length of the innersole, we recommend around 1.5cm space from your longest to to the end of the shoe to achieve a good fit.

The Altra Men's Superior 5.0 is light, fast, and trail-running-ready with a MaxTrac™ outsole and a multi-directional lug pattern for traction on any terrain.
The updated removable StoneGuard™ uses less material and is lighter weight and the “burrito” style wrap-around tongue provides a locked-in feel.

Using these for hiking with some trail running mixed in and so far they are great. Comfort is incredible and grip is superb across all terrains (not tried deep mud yet). For a lightweight trail shoe I can't really fault these.
